G-III Apparel Group in New York City is seeking a motivated Production Associate to join the Production team. This role supports sourcing through pre-production and production stages, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, 2–4 years apparel production experience, and proficiency in Excel, PLM tools, and ERP systems. On-site in Midtown Manhattan offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of apparel production experience in a SKU-intensive environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Gerber WebPDM, Yunique PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with AS400 preferred; willingness to learn.
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build cross-functional and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage WIP reports to track development progress and timelines.
• Coordinate Buy Charts for monthly Buy Meetings and provide status updates.
• Maintain production data and coordinate with G-III China Sourcing Office.
• Drive the daily product development process with global vendors.
• Identify issues and drive resolutions within timelines.
• Track and manage samples for PR, Global Sales, and special requests.
• Manage purchase orders, initial costing, and support seasonal meetings.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Tech Design, and Sourcing across lifecycle.
• Use AS400, Gerber WebPDM, and Yunique PLM to manage records.
• Complete special projects and support sourcing initiatives.
