Job summary

G-III Apparel Group in New York City is seeking a Production Associate to support the Production team from pre-production through finished goods delivery. You will drive the daily development process by coordinating with a global vendor base, manage WIP reports, issue POs, and prepare costing and buy charts for monthly meetings.

You will attend fittings, track samples, and collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Design.

Qualifications

• 3 years apparel production experience in a SKU-intensive environment.
• College degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Advanced MS Excel: data manipulation, pivot tables, v-lookup.
• Experience using AS400 is a plus; willing to learn the system.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Analysis: Create/manage WIP reports and provide status updates.
• Vendor Communication: Coordinate with global vendor base and issue approvals within timelines.
• Sample Management: Track samples for PR and Global Sales; assist with requests.
• Production Management: Issue POs; lead seasonal production validation; assist fittings and costing.
• Special Projects: Take on and complete assigned initiatives.
