Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a District Manager to oversee Pantry and Catering Services across a $60M portfolio in New York City. The role provides strategic and operational leadership with direct oversight of General Managers, the Catering Director, and culinary leadership to meet financial and service goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in multi-unit food service, hospitality management, plant operations management, environmental services, laundry, or other Support Services areas
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong executive presence and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with senior client stakeholders and leadership
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proactive, solutions-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, financial performance, culinary standards, and service consistency across all 3 premier corporate dining locations in NYC
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of General Managers, Catering Director, and culinary teams to provide outstanding service
• Own financial results/P&L for districts in the territory, with reporting, forecasting, and budgeting responsibilities
• Collaborate with Sales, Retention, and Finance on proforma and proposals; participate in full sales and retention process
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and QA requirements; conduct audits and implement improvements
