Job summary

Watts & Associates is assisting a highly regarded Am Law ranked global litigation firm in New York, NY, seeking a mid level Complex Litigation Associate to join the office. The role offers exposure to sophisticated complex commercial disputes with meaningful responsibility from day one.

You will work closely with trial partners and a disputes team, handling discovery, drafting motions, taking depositions, and appearing in court.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of complex litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy.
• New York State Bar membership preferred.
• Top 50 law school credentials.
• Willing to work in New York office in person 5 days a week.
• Salary base: $260,000 to $390,000.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters from strategy through resolution.
• Handle discovery and document review strategy.
• Draft high-quality motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Take depositions and appear in court, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to drive case strategy.
