Job summary

Watts & Associates in Los Angeles seeks a 2 to 6 year Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized litigation practice. You will handle a broad mix of complex civil litigation and white collar investigations, draft motions and pleadings, and manage discovery with increasing responsibility.

You will work in lean teams with direct partner contact, gaining early responsibility and building a long-term platform at the intersection of litigation, technology, and life sciences.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in civil litigation or white collar investigations.
• California bar admission or clear eligibility for practice in Los Angeles.
• Top law firm training and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad mix of complex civil litigation and white collar investigations.
• Draft motions, briefs, and substantive pleadings in federal and state court matters.
• Manage written discovery, review evidence, and prepare factual and legal analyses.
• Support hearings, trials, and regulatory inquiries with increasing responsibility over time.
• Work in small teams with direct partner access and meaningful ownership of workstreams.
