Restaurant Associates in NYC is seeking a Cafe Manager for a premier corporate dining account. You will oversee day-to-day cafe operations, lead and coach the cafe team, ensure quality, guest experience and adherence to brand standards while contributing to cost control and business performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and 1–3 years of relevant, high-volume cafe experience; ServSafe or health certification is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• High-volume cafe operations experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
• Plans, markets, and executes special events/promotions in the cafe.
• Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards.
• Operates within the budget and identifies ways to improve the business.
• Manages cafe operations at a high-volume cafe location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
