Job summary

Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Sous Chef for a premier corporate dining program in NYC. You will oversee daily culinary operations for breakfast and lunch service, guiding a team of 16 hourly associates across cafe, conference dining, and catering.

Lead menu development, uphold food safety and cost controls, and collaborate with senior chefs to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on culinary/kitchen management experience required.
• Experience in high-volume corporate dining or luxury hospitality preferred.
• Catering experience is required.
• Must be comfortable with MS Office and internet.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
