The New York Volunteer Leadership and Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring that TNC in New York’s leadership and broader team are thoughtfully engaging volunteer leaders to harness their experience, insights, and passions; that volunteer leaders feel engaged and rewarded; and that these engagements are productive and appreciated. The role includes supporting the NY Executive Director, the Executive Team, and the wider team in engaging with volunteer leaders and donors.
The Manager will coordinate and plan all volunteer leader quarterly board meetings and events, support and interface with trustees and leadership council members, and develop strategies to generate input and support from volunteer leaders. They will serve as an ambassador, interacting with stakeholders including trustees, donors, partners, and vendors.
The role involves organizing events for board and council members, supporting donor relations, managing databases, and reporting on key data. They will also support the onboarding of new board members and serve as a relationship manager for select trustees.

The starting salary range for this position in the USA is generally $86,000–$90,000, based on qualifications and location. Outside the USA, salary ranges will be adjusted to local markets. The recruitment process is rolling, and candidates are encouraged to apply promptly.
