Job summary

Little Masters Development Center in Flushing, NY is seeking dedicated New York State Certified Teaching Assistants to support an ABA-led Early Intervention Center. You will assist the Lead ABA Teacher with structured activities, one-on-one and small-group support, and data collection to track progress.

Ideal candidates are patient, energetic, and organized, with a passion for helping young children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I, II, or III) is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of TA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead ABA Teacher with implementing classroom instruction and individualized learning activities.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce learning objectives and skill development.
• Support children with special needs using evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Observe student performance, collect data, and document progress.
• Encourage development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Supervise students during classroom activities and transitions to ensure safety.
• Assist with classroom organization, material preparation, and daily routines.
