Job summary

R & W Group is seeking a Business Development Manager based in New York to support growth for a premier US law firm. You will act as a trusted advisor to practice leaders, drive BD strategies, and coordinate with Marketing to deliver high-impact initiatives.

This role is strictly on-site in NY. You will lead pitches, plan client growth, manage budgets, and supervise BD team members while leveraging CRM and market intelligence to position the firm as a market leader in Government Contracts and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of six years of marketing and business development experience, with prior law firm management experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills and client-facing communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with practice chairs to advance BD strategies for Antitrust/Competition and Government Contracts.
• Serve as trusted advisor to lawyers, developing business plans and coaching on BD best practices.
• Develop high-impact pitches and RFP responses aligned with client objectives and firm value propositions.
• Coach partners for client meetings and pitches; support budget and ROI tracking for BD initiatives.
