Job summary

Williams International seeks a skilled NX Specialist to support and optimize our Siemens NX environment, including PMI/MBD workflows and Check-Mate standards. You will configure NX and Teamcenter integration, develop NX Open customizations, and lead evaluations of new NX capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in NX customization/administration, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
5+ years' experience with NX customization and administration.
Strong hands-on NX experience, advanced modeling and assemblies.
Experience with PMI, MBD, and NX validation tools like Check-Mate.
Collaborates with SMEs and engineering teams to define and maintain standards.
Develops NX Open customizations (VB.Net preferred).
Familiar with multi-system engineering integrations (ANSYS, Simcenter, 3DCS, Altium, DFMPro).
Strong troubleshooting and customer-service mindset.
Experience with software upgrade management and system validation.
Understanding CAD/PLM workflows and data management best practices.
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and leadership.
Self-driven with ability to identify improvement opportunities and lead evaluations.
Experience with Jira and Bitbucket/Git in a team of software engineers.
Willingness to obtain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily end-user support for NX—modeling, assemblies, workflows.
Troubleshoot NX part/assembly loading and saving issues.
Support migration to PMI and Model-Based Definition workflows.
Configure and maintain NX Check-Mate for quality and standards.
Develop and enforce NX standards and best practices across the org.
Develop and maintain NX Open customizations (.Net).
Test, validate, and deploy NX software upgrades.
Support and enhance Teamcenter–NX integration and workflow customization.
Manage and troubleshoot third-party integrations (ANSYS, Altium, 3DCS, DFMPro).
Maintain Siemens Teamcenter integrations (Plant Simulation/Tecnomatix, Simcenter).
Administer and optimize NX license usage.
Lead evaluations of new NX capabilities and industry trends.
Collaborate with SMEs on future standards and a continuous improvement roadmap.
Align the organization with modern CAD/CAE best practices.
Assist in maintaining, supporting, and customizing Teamcenter.
