Job summary

3M in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an NVH Test Engineer to lead noise, vibration, harshness and thermal management testing projects for full vehicles and components.

You will analyze test results, develop methods, and collaborate with development engineers and account managers to optimize products. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field and 1 year NVH or acoustics experience; travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• One (1) year of NVH or acoustics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Master's degree or higher in NVH is a plus
• Proficiency in NVH test methods and data acquisition systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform testing to validate the solution for full vehicle and component
• Analyze test results and make recommendations for requirement verification
• Develop, implement, and standardize advanced test methods and procedures
• Work collaboratively with development engineers, application engineers, and account managers to support design and product optimization
