Job summary

Crouse Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking a part-time Nutritional Services assistant to support cafeteria operations and patient meal service. The schedule is 4:00pm to 8:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include tray pass, dish room, tray line duties, replenishing supplies, inventory, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff. High school diploma preferred; basic computer skills with Outlook required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills to complete tasks via email using Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Professionally completes nutritional services duties within all areas of the cafeteria and hospital, including tray pass, dish room, tray line, and patient areas.
• Promptly replenishes necessary supplies for specific work areas and accurately takes inventory on all patient care units to maintain par levels of supplies.
• Consistently provides the highest level of customer service to patients, guests, visitors and employees.

Crouse’s Nutritional Services Department oversees all hospital cafeteria services as well as preparation and serving of patient meals that are nutritionally adequate, following appropriate diet modifications as prescribed by their medical provider.

Pay Range: $19.38 - $24.52 / hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: 4:00pm to 8:30pm, w/ rotating weekends & holidays & other shifts as needed
