The Nutritional Services Technician is responsible for providing all aspects of patient meal service. This role includes preparing hot and cold menu items for patients and cafeteria meals, as well as for special functions. The technician must understand prescribed diet information and food allergy protocols. Responsibilities include obtaining patient meal orders, assembling trays, communicating prescribed diets, maintaining the patient Kardex system, and other kitchen-related tasks such as opening and closing the cafeteria, serving customers, operating the cash register, and managing vendor orders. The technician must complete all required documentation accurately and adhere to sanitation and food safety standards. Exceptional client service should be displayed at all times.

Requirements:

• PRN (as needed)
• Two openings
• Shift hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
• Work schedule includes every other weekend and holidays (Saturday and Sunday)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Physical demands include working in areas with abnormal temperatures, extensive standing, and some heavy lifting. Full body motion including standing, walking, sitting, dexterity, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and exerting force or weight is required.
