Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Team Leader of Nutritional Services to oversee dietary needs, supervise staff, and improve service quality. The role emphasizes training, cash handling accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is safety-sensitive, with typical hours and a focus on department operations within Nutritional Services. Experience in healthcare or kitchen settings is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate Degree in Nutrition, Food Services Management, or other related field preferred.
• Enrolled in an approved Dietary Manager Course and certification preferred.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• One (1) year experience in team positions.
• 2 years’ experience in commercial kitchen or retail.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate with others.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• A customer service oriented approach to work, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• At least 2 years in management position in healthcare or commercial kitchen
• Culinary training is preferred
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with food services software

Responsabilités

• Ensure the dietary needs of all residents are met.
• Supervise, train, and educate staff to ensure competency.
• Continuously improve quality of nutritional services.
• Monitor performance of team members and self.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and cashier procedures.
