Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is hiring a Full-time Dietary Aide to prepare and assemble hot and cold meals for patients, stock pantries, and ensure accurate inventory records. You will deliver trays using proper identification protocols and maintain cleanliness across workstations.

You will operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers, monitor sanitation logs, and assist with patient meals while complying with isolation procedures.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English is required.
• Legible handwriting is required.
• Mathematical skills are essential.
• Bi-Lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
• Experience with a POS system preferred.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items and beverages per recipes.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments; track inventory.
• Serve meals on tray lines; record temperatures; deliver trays to patients with ID checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors and equipment; follow safe cleaning practices.
• Operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers; process transactions and logs.
• Take corrective actions as needed and follow required procedures.

Job Description

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
