Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a dedicated Dietary Services Associate to prepare and assemble hot and cold meals for patients and staff, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.

You will stock and rotate nursing pantries, deliver patient meals on tray lines, monitor temperatures, maintain clean workstations, and operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers, with a PRN Night-Weekend schedule and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items and beverages per recipes.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments; maintain inventory records.
• Serve meals on tray lines; record temperatures; deliver trays to patients with proper identification protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and equipment; use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers; process transactions; monitor sanitation logs and temperatures; take corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
