Job summary

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Sanitation and infection control knowledge preferred but training will be provided.
• ServSafe certification through health department may be required.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and walk for duration of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Service Department with food preparation, serving meals and patient/staff cleanup.
• Perform kitchen and dining room housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
