Qualifications

• Must have oral and written English communication skills as well as basic math and computer skills.
• Must have good organization skills in order to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food according to patient needs.
• Check diet sheets and prepare tray cards for diet identification.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in kitchen areas.
• Comply with state and local food service regulations.
• Assemble prepared food on trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Ensure proper sanitation and storage of kitchen equipment, food and supplies.
• Handle dishwashing and loading as needed.
• Deliver clean dishes and utensils to storage areas.
• Assist with other duties as directed by Dietary Director.
