TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, MA is hiring a Nutritional Aide to support the Food Service Director and follow dietary policies. You will work with the facility's dietitian, assist in serving meals, and help with daily cleaning tasks in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to ServSafe hygiene procedures, and opportunities to contribute to a compassionate hospital setting with room for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High school education preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
• Job Knowledge/Experience: Previous experience in food service preferred.
• Language/Writing/Communication: Basic writing/communication skills appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
• Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, fruit salad.
• Deliver/serve food to designated units. Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water and fruit area.
• Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Ensure utensils are readily available for next meal.
