Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health in Devens, MA seeks a Nutritional Aide for a full-time, day-shift role (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) including every other weekend. You will assist the Food Service Director with dietary tasks, work with the facility's dietitian, and ensure hygiene standards are followed while supporting meal service and daily cleaning duties.

Successful candidates will have high school education, basic reading/writing skills, and preferred prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High school education preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
• Job Knowledge/Experience: Prior food service experience preferred.
• Preferred: Language/Writing/Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed.
• Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement changes.
• Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist in serving meals and daily/scheduled cleaning duties.
• Stock units/pantries; deliver/serve food to designated units.
• Perform dish washing/cleaning; ensure utensils are available for next meal.
