Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, MA is seeking a Nutritional Aide to support dietary functions under the Food Service Director, in accordance with dietary policies. You will work with the dietitian, follow ServSafe hygiene standards, and help serve meals and maintain clean work areas.

Candidates should have a high school education or equivalent and may have prior food service experience. The role offers part-time hours with weekend rotation and a competitive pay range.

Part Time 24 Hours 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

As a Nutritional Aide at TaraVista in Devens, MA you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

• Work with the facility\'s dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
• Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, fruit salad.
• Deliver/serve food to designated units. Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water and fruit area.
• Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensil, etc., are readily available for next meal.

Successful Nutritional Aide candidates will have the following:

• Education/Training: High school education preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
• Job Knowledge/Experience
• Preferred: Previous experience in food service
• Preferred: Language/Writing/Communication

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.

$17.50-$19.27
