Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, MA, is seeking a Nutritional Aide to support dietary operations under the supervision of the Food Service Director. You will work with the facility's dietitian, follow ServSafe hygiene practices, and assist in meal service and daily cleaning tasks.

The role requires coordinating with cooks to prepare snacks and meals, delivering to units, stocking pantries, and maintaining kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
• Preferred: Previous experience in food service.

Responsibilities

• Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
• Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, fruit salad.
• Deliver/serve food to designated units. Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water and fruit area.
• Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Ensure utensils are readily available for next meal.

Shift details: Day 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Day/Evening 10:30 AM - 7:0 0 PM, every other weekend required!

You will also be asked to float between the two shifts.

As a Nutritional Aide at TaraVista in Devens, MA you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.

$17.50-$19.27
