Job summary

Littleton Public Schools Nutrition is seeking a Nutrition Services Substitute to support daily meal service in our kitchens. You will work a school schedule with no nights or weekends, and you choose the days and hours you can work.

The role involves serving meals to students, helping plan and prepare menus, and maintaining safe, clean work habits. You will interact with students and staff, support community relations, and operate the school foodservice register.

Qualifications

• Substitute position, on call as needed.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work a school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve nutritious meals to students daily (breakfast and lunch).
• Help plan and prepare meals for students.
• Develop and promote community relations with students, parents, administrators and staff.
• Operate a foodservice register and interact with students.

What will you be doing

• Serving nutritious and attractive meals to students daily (both breakfast andlunch)
• Helping plan and prepare meals for students
• Developing and promoting good community relations amongst variouscommunity and school clientele including but not limited to students, parents,administration and school based staff.
• Working a foodservice register and interacting with students
• Practicing safe and clean work habits
