Methodist Rehabilitation in Jackson, MS is seeking a dependable PRN Nutrition Services Technician to support our Main Campus dining operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent highly desired.
• 2–3 years of restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write.
• Computer experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and department procedures.
• Deliver patient meals and collect used meal trays.
• Assist with food preparation, delivery, and service in the patient dining areas and cafeteria.
• Set up, maintain, break down, and clean kitchen, café, dining, and dish room areas.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food temperatures to help ensure food is maintained within required safety ranges.
• Receive deliveries, unload delivery trucks, and stock and rotate food and supplies.
• Assist with cashier duties as needed.
• Set up and serve catered events as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily Nutrition Services operations.
