Job summary

YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis seeks a Nutrition Services staff member to coordinate daily food service for children and staff in a safe kitchen environment. You will ensure CACFP compliance, manage meal counts, and assist with menu planning and cost control.

The role requires ServSafe certification within 3–6 months, knowledge of health and sanitation standards, and strong collaboration with the Center Manager and caterers. Minimum education: high school/GED.

Responsibilities

• Receive prepared food from caterer and store per policies
• Distribute food to classrooms for family-style dining per CACFP guidelines
• Maintain kitchen in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
• Prepare and monitor Nutrition Aide Weekly Report with Center Manager
• Monitor inventory and complete related paperwork
