The Nutrition Services Worker reports to the Nutrition Services Coordinator. The position has day-to-day operational responsibilities for the food service provision of Head Start, Early Head Start and child care centers. Assures, participates, and arranges daily preparation and transportation of the food to the centers. Participates, assures, and for the maintenance of food preparation, storage areas, and equipment in a safe and sanitary manner that also complies with health department, Head Start and licensing requirements. Assists with maintaining and preparing appropriate reports for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
