The Cook/Manager is the lead person of the schools Nutrition Services staff. The Cook/Manager actively manages a full-service kitchen and promotes good nutrition, healthy eating and a harmonious work relationship with co-workers, students, faculty and staff in a pleasant environment while maximizing efficiency and maintaining a positive financial position. Interpersonal skills, team work, and shared multi-tasking are important requirements of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of foods and nutrition, methods and techniques of quantity food cookery, operation and the care of institutional equipment.
• Ability to keep all records as directed and possesses good basic judgment.
• Computer knowledge necessary.
