St. Joseph Health in Bryan, TX is seeking an experienced food service supervisor to ensure adherence to healthcare food service standards and regulations.

You will monitor cooking, holding, and storage temperatures and maintain hygiene, labeling, and cross-contamination controls while guiding staff to meet dietary guidelines. The role leads nutrition service employees, ensures menu accuracy and proper portioning, and trains new and existing team members in policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in food service or one (1) year hospital nutrition experience
• High School or Graduate preferred

Responsabilités

• Ensures employees follow healthcare food service industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes.
• Maintains hygiene, labeling, and food storage standards and keeps tools and equipment according to regulations and facility guidelines.
• Leads and develops staff, ensuring menu and diet accuracy, proper meal portioning, presentation and delivery, patient discharge follow-up, etc.
• Trains new and existing employees to follow departmental policies and procedures and provides feedback for improved performance.
• Supports leadership in employee performance reviews and in training related to areas such as therapeutic diets and retail responsibilities.
