Job summary

Laramie County School District 1’s Nutrition Services department in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is seeking a Nutrition Services Bookkeeper (CE36) to handle accounting and secretarial support for the department, reconcile receipts, and prepare detailed financial reports.

The position is 260 days per year, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a starting date in Oct 2026 and a pay rate of $19.62 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Processes documents and materials for dissemination in compliance with requirements.
• Maintains documents, files and records for reference and audit trail.
• Prepares a wide variety of reports and written materials for documenting activities.
• Maintains financial reporting and reconciling of funds, budgets and related reports.
• Compiles data from multiple sources for compliance with financial and administrative requirements.
• Reconciles account balances and monitors policies.
• Utilizes district software and system databases for reporting and budget monitoring.
• Responds to inquiries from staff, schools and state/federal agencies.
• Oversees data collection for vendor rebate programs.
• Maintains inventory of office supplies and warehouse stock.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
