Job summary

ISD 622 in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services Assistant for Carver Elementary School. This 4-hour daily, 9-month position supports meal prep and service while upholding sanitation and safety standards, and may cashier as assigned.

Responsibilities include recording temperatures, inventory tasks, assisting the Kitchen Manager, cleaning, and supporting students, staff, and families. A High School diploma and School Nutrition Association certification within a year are required.

Academic year position responsible for providing support in all aspects of preparing and serving school meals, meeting and maintaining Nutrition Services policies, including sanitation and safety standards. Function as a cashier as assigned. Enter temperatures on temperature sheets, enter food used on the pick list, and provide assistance to the Kitchen Manager as requested. Provide assistance in cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning spills as needed, taking inventory or any other duty as assigned
