Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood-Oakdale School District 622 is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant for Carver Elementary. This 4-hour-per-day, academic-year role supports meal preparation and serving, follows nutrition policies, and may cashier as needed.

You will assist with temperatures, food usage records, inventory, and daily cleaning tasks. The position emphasizes teamwork with staff, students, and families while upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Schedule: 9 months, 5 days per week.

Academic year position responsible for providing support in all aspects of preparing and serving school meals, meeting and maintaining Nutrition Services policies, including sanitation and safety standards. Function as a cashier as assigned. Enter temperatures on temperature sheets, enter food used on the pick list, and provide assistance to the Kitchen Manager as requested. Provide assistance in cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning spills as needed, taking inventory or any other duty as assigned

• Standing for long periods of time as well as stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing and climbing.
