Job summary

Brown County in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Part-time Food Service Aide to support diet card adherence, food preparation, serving, and related kitchen tasks. The shift generally runs from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm, with a .75 FTE commitment.

You will assist with portioning, dishwashing, sanitizing, stocking, and following therapeutic diets under the Dietitian's direction, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate care to clients and residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and dietary service preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitary regulations governing food handling.
• Familiarity with safety hazards when using kitchen equipment and chemicals.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures and to work with staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and follows client and resident diet cards.
• Performs food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, serving and related tasks.
• Maintains proper temperature and handling of hot and cold foods.
• Records and reports maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
• Ensures confidentiality of client and business information.
