Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support patient meals and dining services on a rotating shift basis. The role covers food preparation, distribution, sanitation, and event catering within a hospital food service setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a foodservice operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services
• Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures
• Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering special events
• Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Adheres to all food safety regulations and manages food safety risks including: personal hygiene, food handling, food preparation and production, and food storage

Nutrition Services Aide

Position Purpose:

• In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Nutritional Services Aide performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.

Minimum Qualifications:
