Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide (Casual as Needed) to support patient dining, tray delivery, and sanitation. This role is part-time with a rotating shift and located at Mount Carmel East.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation and distribution, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean service areas while following food safety regulations. High school education is preferred and prior foodservice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a foodservice operation preferred.
• Skills: Effective communication skills are required.

• Adheres to all food safety regulations and manages food safety risks including: personal hygiene, food handling, food preparation and production, and food storage

• This position is eligible to all candidates 16+ in age.Nutrition Services Aide

Position Purpose

• In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Nutritional Services Aide performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.

What You Will Do

• Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services
• Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures
• Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering special events

Minimum Qualifications
