Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks a Nutrition Services Aide to assist in delivering nutrition services to patients. You may prepare and/or serve food items, arrange tables and trays, wash dishes, perform general cleaning, and deliver soiled linen to the laundry.

Must hold a current state Food Handler Certificate, have English reading/writing skills, and prior food service experience is preferred. The employer offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401K with match, CEU

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assures that sanitation and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Completes Logs as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware, condiments, and tray ticket.
• Performs various food preparation tasks and assists in apportioning servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Delivers nourishments and supplements identified with patient labels.
• Maintains tray tickets and makes changes as directed.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry and maintains cleaning tasks.
