Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the delivery of nutrition and dietary services. The role involves preparing and serving meals, setting up dining and patient trays, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the dining areas and kitchen.

The position requires a current State Food Handler Certificate, English literacy, and prior experience in food service.

Qualifications

• Must have current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and with food service equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Aids in the delivery of Nutrition Services.
• Prepares and serves food items, trays, and beverages as needed.
• Assists with sanitation, cleaning, and dishwashing tasks.
• Maintains dining room and patient room tray setup with proper condiments and tableware.
• Delivers nourishments and patient labels as identified.
• Completes logs and adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
