Fairview Health Services seeks a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN. The role involves preparing and portioning food, assembling and disassembling patient trays, and serving meals in cafeteria and non-patient settings.

Evening shift, 21 hours every two weeks, not benefit eligible. Responsibilities include plating, serving, safe food handling under HACCP, sanitizing equipment, and assisting in patient-related dining tasks.

Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is 21hours per every 2-week period, on eveningshift and is not benefit eligible.

Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

Schedule

• Week 1: Wednesday 3:15pm-8:30pm
• Week 2: Thursday 3:15pm-8:30pm
• Week 2: Saturday 3:15pm-8:30pm
• Week 2: Sunday 3:15pm-8:30pm

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or
• GED
