  4. Hourly rate: $19.77 - $22.22, depending on experience and qualifications

The Nutrition Services Worker-Traveling supports food service activities at assigned locations, including preparing and serving food to students and staff, and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary manner.

Essential Functions include:

  1. Arranging food and beverage items for efficient service.
  2. Attending meetings and training for job-related information.
  3. Cleansing utensils, equipment, and food areas to meet sanitary standards.
  4. Cooking food to meet nutritional and meal requirements.
  5. Estimating food preparation needs and adjusting recipes to minimize waste.
  6. Inspecting food items and supplies for quality and compliance.
  7. Inventory management of food, supplies, and equipment.
  8. Maintaining cleanliness of all food service areas.
  9. Monitoring safety and sanitation in the kitchen and cafeteria.
  10. Performing duties of other nutritional positions as needed.
  11. Preparing food and beverages to meet nutritional standards.
  12. Reporting equipment issues for repairs.
  13. Serving food to meet nutritional and student requests.
  14. Performing additional duties to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Age 16+
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desired: relevant job experience
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and push/pull up to 150 lbs throughout the day
