Job summary

Essentia Health Fosston Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to support high quality, nutritious meals for patients and customers. You will assist with food service, preparation, inventory, dishwashing, cleaning, and stocking, including cash handling in the patient service area.

This 0.4 FTE daytime role supports the Fosston location, contributing to efficient service and patient-centered care within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Ability to monitor inventory and stock in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in basic food service tasks and maintaining cleanliness.

Building Location: Fosston Hospital Department: 3049820 NUTRITION SERVICES - FS HOSP Job Description: Assists in providing high quality and nutritious foods to patients and customers through a variety of tasks necessary to the daily operation of the facility. This may include food service, food preparation, monitoring inventory, dishwashing tasks, general cleaning, and stocking of food service areas. Performs tasks related to the setup and service in the patient service area, including interacting with customers and cash handling.
