Job summary

Essentia Health’s Duluth Clinic seeks a nursing professional to organize and provide care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You’ll delegate tasks to licensed staff and contribute to patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a BSN or ADN from an accredited program and current state licensure, with BCLS certification due within one month. This 0.4 FTE day-shift position offers ongoing professional development and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month.

Job Description: Education Qualifications: Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responsible for recognizing occupational hazards and facilitate necessary changes for controlling hazards, and to provide early intervention to recognize and treat illnesses and injuries. Maintains confidential employee medical records.
