Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a food service associate to prepare and portion meals, assemble patient trays, and serve customers in hospital cafeterias and doctors dining rooms. You will deliver and retrieve patient trays while following HACCP and safety standards.

The role emphasizes clear English communication, basic math, and the ability to adapt service to diverse populations, with a schedule that includes weekday weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or
• GED

Week 1

Monday: 6:30AM-3:00PM

Thursday: 8:00AM-4:30PM

Saturday: 6:30AM-3:00PM

Sunday: 6:30AM-3:00PM

Week 2

Thursday: 6:30AM-3:00PM

Friday: 5:30AM-2:00PM
