Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis is seeking a food service worker to prepare and portion meals and assemble patient trays. You will plate and serve food, sanitize equipment, and maintain clean work areas in accordance with HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include serving customers in cafeterias and other non-patient locations, and accommodating diverse patient needs through respectful, culturally aware service. Training on safety and hygiene is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, in English.
• Basic math skills.

• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.
