Job summary

Old Colony Elder Services, Inc. is seeking a Nutrition Program Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of congregate meal-sites and the Home Delivered Meals program, including supervising assigned staff.

You will ensure health and safety standards, coordinate deliveries, and implement program improvements while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality reporting across the South Shore region.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Human Services.
• Three years of experience in community or elder service programs.
• Must possess or obtain appropriate food safety certifications.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal billing processes as needed.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, routes and personnel.
• Develop and recommend program improvements.
• Ensure consumer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Generate and update program reports.
• Maintain inventory for department and meal sites.
• Monitor meal operations for health and safety standards.
• Supervise training, scheduling and evaluation of staff.
• Conduct bi-annual meal-site inspections.
• Review or approve invoices for meals and supplies.

We are seeking a Nutrition Program Supervisor responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of congregate meal-sites and the Home Delivered Meals program plus assigned staff.

What you'll do:

• Assisting with the internal billing process as needed
• Coordinating delivery schedules, routes, and personnel
• Developing and recommending program improvements
• Ensuring that consumer satisfaction standards are met
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
• Generating and updating program related reports as needed
• Maintaining updated inventory of equipment needed in department and meal sites
• Monitoring meal operations to ensure all health and safety standards are met
• Overseeing all training, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of assigned staff
• Performing bi-annual meal-site inspections
• Reviewing and approving invoices for meals and site/caterer supplies
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift-up to 25 pounds at times
