Job summary

City of Baltimore is seeking a Nutrition Technician Supervisor to monitor compliance with nutrition program guidelines and coordinate nutritional education. The role involves supervising nutrition technicians, aides and office staff, with possible weekend work and visits to clients’ homes.

Employees may work in an office or clinic setting; background checks and probation are required. A bachelor’s degree with nutrition coursework and relevant experience are essential, with WIC certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least 15 credit hours in food and nutrition.
• Two years of experience providing nutrition counseling.
• Equivalent: An Associate of Applied Science degree in Dietetic Technology may substitute for the education requirement.
• WIC Program applicants must pass State training for certification as CP Authority within nine months of employment.
