Job summary

LifePath is seeking a part-time Nutrition Program Assistant based in the Franklin County area, primarily located in Erving, MA, with responsibilities at the Meals on Wheels Kitchen and occasional dining centers. The role involves kitchen prep, volunteer supervision, and back-up meal delivery.

The position offers 15 hours per week, eligibility for a 401(k), and a bilingual differential of 6% after fluency assessment. Compensation is $18.95 per hour, with mileage paid for meal delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver's license; reliable, insured transportation; willingness to travel to sites in the service area.
• Experience working with older adults and volunteers a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cooking skills to reheat pre-prepared foods.

Responsibilities

• Perform Kitchen Assistant duties at the Meals on Wheels Kitchen as needed.
• Back-up for Home Delivered Meals routes as needed to deliver meals.
• Back-up for Dining Center Manager as needed.
• Supervision of volunteers.
• Perform kitchen tasks to reheat pre-prepared foods, serve, and clean up after meals.
• Keep relevant records and data.
