Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Winter Garden is seeking a Nutrition Coach/Counselor to guide patients on their weight loss journey under physician supervision. You will provide expert nutrition and exercise guidance, conduct weekly consultations, and document progress in the EMR system.

Ideal candidates are people-oriented, with certification in nutrition coaching, and a willingness to undergo a background check. Training on IM injections, labs, and referrals will be provided.

Qualifications

• Certification in nutrition coaching or counseling is a plus.
• Background check may be required per local regulations.
• Willingness to follow physician supervision and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly patient consultations focused on nutrition and exercise (training provided).
• Assist supervising provider with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient progress in the EMR system.
• Conduct follow-up calls to discuss patient progress and address concerns.
• Obtain patient vitals (training provided).
• Administer intramuscular injections (training provided).
• Obtain patient laboratory results (training provided).
