Job summary

Medi-Weightloss® Orlando is hiring a Nutrition Counselor for our in-person clinic. You will coach patients on nutrition, exercise, and behavior change, performing basic clinical tasks with training provided. The role emphasizes building relationships, accountability, and ongoing patient support.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with room to grow based on experience. Expect early mornings and some evenings, plus two days off weekly.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of nutrition and exercise fundamentals.
• Comfort and confidence on the phone.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic with back-to-back appointments.
• Strong communication skills, warmth, and professionalism.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Coach patients weekly in one-on-one consultations on nutrition, exercise, and behavior change under supervision.
• Make outbound calls to patients for progress follow-ups and reminders.
• Build relationships to keep patients accountable and motivated.
• Perform clinical support tasks (vital signs, injections, ECGs, blood draws) with training provided.
• Document interactions in EMR and support the provider team to ensure high-quality care.
