Job summary
Legacy Health Services is seeking a Dietary Technician to support residents’ nutritional health. You will assist the Registered Dietitian in delivering personalized nutrition care, ensuring meals meet safety and taste standards, and adapting plans to individual needs.
Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in Nutrition/Applied Science, registration with the Dietetic Commission, and at least 1 year in healthcare. Join a team focused on wellbeing and quality of life for residents.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nutrition/Applied Science
- Registered with the Commission for Dietetic Registration
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledgeable about dietary regulations for nursing homes
- Organized, compassionate, and a great communicator
Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Dietitian in providing personalized nutritional care
- Ensure meals and snacks are safe, appetizing, and tailored to each resident’s needs
- Help monitor dietary quality and compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with dietary staff, care teams, and residents to promote satisfaction and wellbeing
- Participate in care conferences, resident council meetings, and new resident onboarding
