Job summary

TE C Industrial Inc in Rochester, NY is seeking a Part-Time Diet Technician to deliver individualized nutritional care under the supervision of our Registered Dietitian. You will perform nutritional assessments and contribute to care plans to support resident health and well-being.

Responsibilities include collaborating with residents, families and healthcare teams, documenting findings, and ensuring accurate meal planning and communication to support high-quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Active dietetic registration and a commitment to ongoing continuing education.
• Previous experience in long-term care settings.
• Strong working knowledge of MDS 3.0.
• Familiarity with care planning, nutritional assessments, and relevant Federal/State regulations.

• Drive Resident Care & Documentation: Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop tailored care plans, address acute medical changes, and collaborate directly with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Be a Collaborative Team Player: Actively participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, family conferences, and team huddles.
• Champion Resident Satisfaction: Conduct regular meal rounds to engage with residents and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
• Bridge Communication Gaps: Maintain seamless communication with nursing personnel and medical practitioners regarding weight changes, clinical updates, and ongoing nutritional needs.
